Mechanical Knees and Feet Components Overview

This 4-hour course will provide an overview of all mechanical knees and feet in the Ottobock portfolio. This overview will include component selection, alignment, adjustments and best combinations for all functional levels. Discussions will be provided on the challenges of fitting a range of mobility grades and products that meet the demands and functional needs of the end user.


Learning Objectives:

By the end of the session participants will be able to:

  • Describe and identify solutions for TT and TF levels of amputations
  • Describe and identify appropriate feet for K1-K4 levels of function
  • Describe and identify appropriate knees for K1-K4 levels of function
  • Describe and identify correct alignment criteria for the most used knee components
  • Describe and identify correct adjustment criteria for the most used knee components


Credits:

  • 4 (s) ABC CEUs
  • CPs, CPAs, and CTPs will receive Category I ABC CEUs. All other certifications will receive Category II CEUs.
